Krysten Ritter & Kristen Dunst makeup at the 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards ~ Jan 17th,

This is hot of the Dior Press! I have inside scoop on the makeup Krysten Ritter (from Jessica Jones, not sure if you have seen it but its highly addictive, my husband and I call it the Netflix vortex when you binge watch a series and we definetly did with that one) and Kristen Dunsts.

They wore a lot of the new Spring Collection called Glowing Gardens, click here for more info.

First up is Krysten Ritter, I borrowed this image from Goggle. Her makeup is by Amy Nadine for Dior Beauty.

INSPIRATION:

"For Krysten's makeup tonight, I was so inspired by her deep maroon sparkly dress - and decided to channel Rita Hayworth for a classic and dramatic makeup look. We went back and forth on playing up her eyes or matching her lip to her dress and after trying both, we decided to add more to the eye and bring down the lip with the perfect shade of Dior Rouge Baume (and I'm so happy we did!). To pull off this eye, the key is to build it in layers like I did. That's the best way to see how far you can take it because when you get it there, you just know when it's perfect!

I prepped Krysten's skin with Dior Glow Maximizer for an inner radiance and really bring her skin to life and prepped her lips with my favourite Dior Crème de Rose lip balm. I applied Diorskin Forever Foundation in Light Beige using the new Dior Beauty Blending Sponge, lightly contoured her cheekbone with Diorskin Nude Air Tan Powder, and then popped the apple of her cheeks with the new Spring Glowing Gardens Diorblush.

For her eyes, first I applied the grey shadow end of the Diorshow Colour & Contour Eyeshadow & Eyeliner Duo in Iris all over the lid and bottom lashline. Then I applied the lighter silver shade from the Dior 5 Couleurs Glowing Gardens Eyeshadow Palette along the crease, and the darker pewter shade from the same palette in the outer corner. Next, I applied the black Diorshow Pro Liner on the upper lash line and followed with multiple coats of Diorshow Mascara, finishing the eye with Ardell Individual Flare Lashes in Medium Black." -Amy Nadine

Here's Kristens Dunst. She needs not introduction. Again this image is from google. Her makeup was by Celebrity Makeup Arist Sabrina Bedrani.

"To stand out against the light pink dress Kirsten is wearing tonight, we both agreed that it would be pretty with a pop of bright red colour on her lips. I wanted her skin and the rest of her makeup look to be fresh and dewy to compliment the sheerness of her dress.

After prepping Kristen's skin by moisturizing her face with the new Capture Totale Crème and then the Capture Totale Eye Serum, I used the Dior Pore Minimizer primer, to ensure her makeup will last all night, and then evened out her skin with the new Diorskin Forever Foundation in ivory. While I wanted to keep the focus on the lips and the overall look light and fresh, I still wanted to bring out her beautiful eye colour in a soft way. So I used the beautiful Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow palette in 'Versailles', smudging the darkest brown colour in the lower right quad all around her eye, and the silver and gold shimmery shades to highlight. I then used the black Diorshow Khôl Stick in black, applying it with an angled eyeliner brush all along the lash line to define her eye a bit more, and then finished with 2 coats of black Diorshow New Look Mascara.

For the lips, I used a brush to fill in her lips entirely with the classic red Rouge Dior Lipstick in shade 999 and then applied a second shade - Rouge Dior Lipstick in Rouge Favori - on top."- Sabrina Bedrani
