2015 BAFTA inspired Face Charts
The 2015 British BAFTA awards took place today. As I British Expat living in the Canada, I will explain what the BAFTAs actually are. BAFTA stands for British Academy of Film and Television Arts. The purpose according to Wikipedia is to “supports, promotes and develops the art form of the moving image – film, television and video games – by identifying and rewarding excellence inspiring practitioners and benefiting the public” It takes place once a year in London and the President of the BAFTAs is HRH The Duke of Cambridge. It is a very big deal in the UK, the stars walk the red carpet and it is the equivalent to the Oscars. I was the Makeup Designer on a short film that was nominated for a BAFTA about 14 years ago. It wasn’t very popular but did well at Independent Film Festivals. Anyway, back to the point of this post. I have designed 5 celebrity inspired face charts from today awards.
The makeup mood was full of warm bronzy eyes, nude lips, soft cheeks and relatively matte complexion. I did find Felicity Jones star of The Theory of Everything and Lea Seydoux casted as the next Bond Girl in Spectre to be my faourite looks of the night.
