Aquatic Treasures - Clarins colour Collection 2015
Aquatic Treasures is the name of Clarins Summer 2015 makeup collection. It’s a gorgeous aquatic themed collection that would look fantastic with a summer sun tan! Below are some inspirational face charts to help get you started with this collection. When I say Aquatic Treasure for Brown, Green or Blue eyes I am saying this as a guide. There is no right or wrong way to wear this collection, this is a guide only. I have designed all the looks below with some specific products used before the eye makeup and lip stick is applied.
-
I used the Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base (try saying that 5 times, haha) then I topped the skin with a little BB cream depending on the coverage I want.
-
Then I concealed with a little Clarins Instant Light Concealer.
-
Powdered well as this will allow your Aquatic Treasures Bronzer to blend well and not look patchy. The most natural way to apply bronzer is using a large brush, swirl it around the compact and gentle tap it against a tissue to remove access then apply it everywhere the sun hits, like top of the forehead, down the nose, up the cheek bones, the chin and the chest if needed.
-
Finally, the brows were tidied with a little Clarins Pro Eyebrow Palette Kit.
Aquatic Teasures Brown Eyes
Brown eyes will love this collection as the vibrant Aquatic green loves brown eyes. This look was created by following the steps above first then apply some of the Aquatic Rose all over the lids as a base from lash line to crease. Then apply some Aquatic Green to the crease and outer corner with an eyeshadow brush. Next apply some Aquatic Grey to darken the outer corner and blend everything together using a soft blending brush. Sweep some Aquatic Grey along the lower lash line. Line the upper lashes with some Instant Liner for added definition. Curl lashes and apply a few coats of Aquatic Green Truly Waterproof Mascara. Finish the look off with some Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in the shade My Pink but the shade Rose will also compliment this look beautifully!
Aquatic Treasures - Blue Eyes
Sometimes when we apply an eyeshadow similar to our own eye colour the colour sort of mash up together so it is important to create a colour block. I did this by applying a block of colour to the lower lash line similar to the eye colour, then to balance all the blue and green I used colour to compliment on top like peach. Start this look by applying the Aquatic Rose all over the lid from lash line to just higher than the natural crease. Then apply Aquatic Grey to the outer corner and then just higher than the natural crease. This will open up the entire lid making the eyes appear larger. Sweep some of the Aquatic Green along the lower lash line and then line the water line with some long lasting waterproof Aquatic Green Eye Liner. Line the upper lash line with some liquid Instant Liner, curl lashes and apply a few coats of Aquatic Green Truly Waterproof Mascara to both upper and lower lashes. Finally apply some Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in the shade ‘My Pink’.
Aquatic Treasures - Green Eyes
Don’t be scared to try this collection if you have green eyes. Aquatic Rose and Aquatic Grey will look so beautiful alone but I added the Aquatic Green for an extra pop of colour! After you have applied the steps above apply some of the Aquatic Rose all over the upper lids and then using a small eyeshadow brush stipple some Aquatic Green along the upper lash line from corner to corner about a quarter of the way up the lid. Next blend some Aquatic Grey on top of the green to about half way up the lids. Blend everything together so you see no visible lines, just a graduation of colour from vibrant green to soft peach. Next sweep some Aquatic Green shadow along the lower lash line. Line the upper lashes with some Instant Liner, curl lashes and apply a few coats of Aquatic Green Truly Waterproof Mascara. Finish this dramatic look of by apply some Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in the shade Rose. This is a great look for woman that may find the vibrant liner a little intimidating.
